The Bat Booth™ enters Mining

The Bat Booth™, our Personnel De-dusting Booth System, has just made its debut in the mining industry. And a very successful one – the customer that acquired it is no other then Glencore,  one of the largest commodity trading and mining companies in the world.

The Bat Booth™ was created in 2014 as a personnel de-dusting and clothes cleaning booth.  Its unique design ensures the most effective and time efficient dust extraction solution on the market. Not only it quickly removes dust by using curtains of compressed air but it also captures it via a special filtering system, unlike other dust extraction devices currently available.

You can see a quick demonstration here. Done and dusted in under 12 seconds!

This time our Bat Booth™ will be hard at work at Mount Isa site in Queensland. It is one of the biggest mining operations in Australia responsible for the production of copper, lead, zinc and silver. The Bat Booth™ has been specifically purchased to assist with dust removal during zinc and copper production.

We are excited about our first Bat Booth™ sale to a mine and we predict it’s not our last. While Glencore is trialing the first one, we are in talks on providing the company with the customised Bat Booths™ in the future
